Saudi side Al Nassr confirmed the signing of Bayern Munich striker Sadio Mane on Tuesday in a contract until 2027.

"I'm really happy to be part of you guys, I can't wait to see you," Mane said in a video addressed to Al Nassr supporters on the club's social media accounts.

Both clubs announced the transfer involving the former Liverpool star.

"Leaving Bayern hurts me. I would have wished for a different ending," he told Sky Germany.

Mane won the Champions League and Premier League in six seasons with Liverpool and was a key part of Jurgen Klopp's devastating front three with Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino.

When Liverpool won their first English league title for 30 years in the pandemic-disrupted 2019-2020 season, Mane scored 18 goals.

Aside from Ronaldo, Al Nassr have also signed this summer Croatia midfielder Marcelo Brozovic, Brazil full-back Alex Telles and Ivory Coast midfielder Seko Fofana.

Karim Benzema, the reigning Ballon d'Or, and French 2018 World Cup winner N'Golo Kante joined Al-Ittihad in June, while Riyad Mahrez left Manchester City for Al-Ahli last week.

Germany is bringing in some local knowledge for its Nations League quarterfinal against Italy.
Germany coach Julian Nagelsmann gave a first senior call-up on Thursday to Inter Milan defender Yann Bisseck, who plays his club games at the San Siro, where Italy hosts Germany for the first leg on March 20, The Associated Press reported.
Bisseck is having a solid season for Inter, where he's played 29 games across all competitions. He started in Inter's 2-1 Champions League win over Feyenoord on Tuesday. The center back was one of the youngest Bundesliga players in history at the age of 16 for Cologne in 2017 but has spent much of his career since then outside of Germany.
Nagelsmann has recalled eight players to his 23-player squad, including Bayern Munich midfielder Leon Goretzka, who last played for Germany in November 2023, and Dortmund winger Karim Adeyemi, who was last in the squad for the 2022 World Cup.
The second leg is in Dortmund on March 23.
