Secretary-General of the Muslim World League (MWL) and Chairman of the Association of Muslim Scholars Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa met with senior scholars and muftis from the Horn of Africa in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, reported the Saudi Press Agency on Wednesday.
Sheikh Al-Issa underscored the importance of upholding Islamic values and fostering collective Islamic action.
He emphasized the crucial role of scholars in promoting moderate values within societies, particularly in promoting harmonious coexistence and mutual respect among the diverse components of their respective nations.
Sheikh Al-Issa held a separate meeting with president of the Supreme Islamic Council of Ethiopia, Haji Ibrahim.
They underlined the importance of humanitarian work in order to provide an accurate representation of Islam to everyone.
