Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz condemned on Monday the terrorist attack that struck Ankara on Sunday.
In a cable to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, he stressed the “Kingdom’s solidarity with Türkiye and its brotherly people.”
He wished the injured a speedy recovery.
Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, sent a similar cable to Erdogan.
A suicide bomber detonated an explosive device in the Turkish capital on Sunday, while a second assailant was killed in a shootout with police.
The attack occurred hours before Parliament was set to reopen after its three-month summer recess with an address by Erdogan.
Two police officers were slightly injured during the attack near an entrance to the Ministry of Interior Affairs.
