The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has supported with USD$15 million the first phase of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) for Palestine refugees emergency humanitarian response plan for the Gaza Strip.
The plan aims to provide food security, shelter, non-food items, emergency health supplies, water and environmental sanitation works.
UNRWA is the only international organization that can carry out relief activities for affected people inside the Gaza Strip.
The plan will be implemented immediately through an active partnership between KSrelief and UNRWA in light of the critical humanitarian conditions, challenges and the siege on the Gaza Strip across specific programs.
The move reflects the keenness of Saudi Arabia, represented by KSrelief, to stand by the Palestinian people during the current humanitarian crisis.
