The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) Assistant Supervisor General of Operations and Programs Eng. Ahmed Al Baiz signed a joint executive project on Monday with a civil society organization to renovate houses and schools damaged by floods in El Manaqil City, Gezira State of the Republic of Sudan.
The project's objective is to construct 112 housing units for families whose homes were devastated by floods, SPA reported.
This includes erecting 6 classrooms, 4 offices, and 2 bathrooms at Al-Asas School, as well as reconstructing 3 classrooms, 2 offices, and 2 bathrooms at the middle school. The total estimated value of this endeavor is $522 million.
This initiative is part of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's endeavors, facilitated by its humanitarian entity KSrelief, aimed at easing the plight faced by the Sudanese people during this crisis.
