The Saudi leadership congratulated on Wednesday Sheikh Meshal al-Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah on being sworn in as emir of Kuwait.

In separate cables, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, wished Sheikh Meshal success in continuing along the path paved by late Emir Sheikh Nawaf al-Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah.

They underscored Saudi Arabia’s solidarity with Kuwait, wishing Sheikh Meshal health and happiness and the state of Kuwait prosperity and development under his wise leadership.

Sheikh Meshal was sworn in before the National Assembly on Wednesday.

As part of its international partnership initiatives, the Saudi Ministry of Interior collaborated with the French National Police to implement a specialized female training program, the Saudi Press Agency said on Friday.

The training took place at the Women's Capacity Training Development Center within the General Directorate of Prisons.

The program sought to equip female trainees from different departments of the Ministry of Interior with advanced technical and security skills.
