Saudi Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar bin Ibrahim Alkhorayef met on Tuesday with Tunisian President Kais Saied at the Carthage Presidential Palace.

The meeting is part of Alkhorayef's visit to Tunisia, where he leads a Saudi delegation in the 11th session of the Saudi-Tunisian Joint Committee in Tunis.

During the meeting, they reviewed cooperation and emphasized expanding ties into broader horizons to achieve the interests of both countries.
Alkhorayef further held a number of meetings with Tunisian ministers during his visit. He met with Sihem Boughdiri, the Tunisian interim Minister of Economy and Planning, during which talks centered on exploring avenues to bolster cooperation and mutual investments between both nations.

The Saudi minister also met Kalthoum Ben Rejeb, the Minister of Trade and Export Development. Their discussions revolved around opportunities to augment the bilateral trade volume and increase Saudi non-oil exports to Tunisia.
Moreover, he engaged with Ahlam Al-Baji Al-Sayeb, the chief-of-staff of Tunisia's Ministry of Industry, Mines, and Energy, to explore avenues for strengthening cooperation in the industry and mining sectors. They also discussed potential joint investments involving the private sectors of both countries.
