Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah met with his French counterpart Stephane Sejourne in Brussels on Monday for talks on bilateral relations between their countries and ways to bolster them in various fields.
They met on the sidelines of a European Union Foreign Affairs Council meeting on Gaza.
They also discussed regional and international issues of common interest.
Prince Faisal also congratulated Sejourne on assuming his duties at the Foreign Ministry.
The Saudi FM had arrived in Brussels earlier on Monday to attend the EU meeting. The EU invited the foreign ministers of Israel, the Palestinians, Egypt, Jordan and a representative of the Arab League to take part in the talks.
Prince Faisal met with his Jordanian counterpart Ayman Safadi on the sidelines of the meeting.
