Riyadh hosts on Friday the 42nd Gulf Development Forum, titled “The Role of Knowledge and Culture in Promoting Development in the Arab Gulf Countries”, SPA reported.
The two-day forum, starts in Riyadh for the first time, will be joined by the ASBAR Center and aims to promote sustainable development in Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries by investing in shared cultural and scientific resources.
An elite group of the most prominent thinkers, experts, and academics from member countries will participate in the forum.
According to the head of the ASBAR Center, Dr. Fahad Al-Orabi Al-Harthi, the forum is one of the most significant in the Gulf, with a history spanning over four decades of success in assisting decision-makers and promoting development dialogue in the region.
He appreciated the role of all participants in formulating ideas and initiatives that contribute to a joint renaissance that fulfills the aspirations of the peoples of the Gulf countries for a better future.
