The Saudi government stressed on Tuesday the need to end the Israeli war on Gaza and for a ceasefire to be established.
Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz chaired the cabinet meeting that was held in Riyadh.
The government underlined the outcomes of the consultative meeting that it had called for to discuss the Israeli war on Gaza.
The meeting called for lifting the restrictions imposed on the entry of humanitarian aid to Gaza.
It underscored the need to take measures that would lead to the implementation of the two-state solution and recognition of a Palestinian state based on the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital.
The cabinet was briefed on the recent consultations and talks the Kingdom held with several brotherly and friendly countries, including the two messages received by King Salman and Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, from the president of Gambia and king of Spain.
The cabinet commended the outcomes of the third meeting of the Saudi-Bahraini Coordination Council that was co-chaired by Crown Prince Mohammed and Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain.
It hailed the signing of several agreements and memoranda of understanding at the council that are aimed at boosting cooperation between the two brotherly countries in various fields.
The cabinet reviewed a series of reports on important international events and exhibitions hosted recently by the Kingdom. It lauded the successful organization of the World Defense Show, which is testimony to the country's commitment to supporting the military industries sector.
The cabinet also praised the Kingdom's commitment to bolstering and developing national capabilities in this field, and to fostering increased international cooperation, in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
