Saudi Crown Prince Receives Written Message from Ethiopian Prime Minister

Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, received on Sunday a written message from Prime Minister of Ethiopia Abiy Ahmed Ali concerning bilateral relations and means to boost ties.

The message was received by Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah who met in Riyadh with Deputy Prime Minister of Ethiopia Temesgen Tiruneh They discussed ways to bolster relations, as well as regional and global issues of common concern.

Ethiopian Minister of Foreign Affairs Taye Atske Selassie, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Eng. Walid Elkhereiji, Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs Ambassador Dr. Saud Al-Sati, Saudi Ambassador to Ethiopia Dr. Fahad Alhumaydani, and Advisor to the minister of foreign affairs Mohammed Al-Yahya attended the meeting.

The Arab Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen announced on Monday that “air defenses dealt with a ballistic missile threat from the terrorist Houthi militias.”

Coalition spokesman Turki al-Malki said the defenses handled the threat that was targeting the Southern Region.

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud sent a cable of condolences to President Xi Jinping of the People's Republic of China over the victims of heavy rainfall that struck the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in southern China.

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques extended his sincerest condolences to the president, the families of the deceased, and the people of China, and wished the president continued safety from all harm, SPA reported.

For his part, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, also sent a cable of condolences to President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping over the victims of heavy rainfall that struck the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in southern China.

The Crown Prince extended his sincerest condolences to the president, the families of the deceased, and the people of China, and wished the president continued safety from all harm.

Saudi Crown Prince Offers Phone Condolences to Emir of Qatar over Passing of Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa

Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, held a phone call on Monday with Qatar's Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and offered his condolences over the death of Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.

The Crown Prince expressed sympathy to the emir praying for God's mercy and forgiveness upon the deceased.

The Qatari emir thanked the Saudi crown prince for his sincere fraternal condolences.
