Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah departed Thursday evening for New York City, United States, to lead the Kingdom's delegation participating in 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly.
The Kingdom's delegation includes Saudi Ambassador to the United States Princess Reema bint Bandar bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz and a group of ministers, including Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Cabinet Member, and Climate Envoy Adel Al-Jubeir, Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture Abdulrahman Alfadley, Minister of Communications and Information Technology Abdullah Alswaha, and Minister of Economy and Planning Faisal Alibrahim.
Additionally, Adviser to the Royal Court and Supervisor General of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) Abdullah Al Rabeeah, Deputy Minister for International Multilateral Affairs and General Supervisor of the Public Diplomacy Deputyship Abdulrahman Al-Rassi, and Permanent Representative of Saudi Arabia to the United Nations Abdulaziz Alwasil are part of the delegation.
Prince Faisal and the Kingdom's delegation will engage in several official meetings, aiming to boost multilateral international work and discuss developments on regional and international fronts.
The meetings will also address efforts to establish global security and peace and joint efforts to achieve sustainable development goals.
The delegation will hold bilateral meetings with representatives of brotherly and friendly countries, in addition to officials from several international organizations participating in this year’s session on the sidelines of the General Assembly.
