Iran will resume flights as normal from 9 a.m. (0530 GMT), the semi-official news agency Tasnim reported on Saturday following a brief suspension after Israel struck military targets in the country.

For it's part, Iraq announced resumption of flights in all airports, state news agency INA reported on Saturday,

It announced the reopening of its airspace and the resumption of flights, citing the ministry of transportation, following a brief suspension which it had attributed to regional tensions.

Earlier, Emirati airline flydubai also cancelled flights to Jordan, Iran, Iraq and Israel and diverted others on Saturday, a company spokesperson said, shortly after Israel struck military targets in Iran.

Kremlin Says Putin Open to Normalizing Ties with Finland if Helsinki Wants to Rebuild Ties

The Kremlin said on Tuesday that President Vladimir Putin was open to normalizing relations with Finland, which his spokesman Dmitry Peskov said were in a "sad state," if Helsinki wanted to rebuild ties.

Finnish President Alexander Stubb told his British counterpart Keir Starmer on Monday that Helsinki needs to "mentally prepare" for the restoration of ties with Russia, Reuters reported.

Finland, which shares a 1,300-km (800-mile) border with Russia, joined the NATO military alliance in 2023, which Moscow cast at the time as a dangerous historic mistake.
