The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center's (KSrelief) Masam Project, which focuses on clearing mines in Yemen, successfully dismantled a total of 636 mines in various regions during the fifth week of October.
This included 4 anti-personnel mines, 36 anti-tank mines, and 596 unexploded ordnance items.
Since the project began, a total of 468,670 mines have been cleared, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
Saudi Arabia remains committed to removing all mines from Yemeni territory, as these explosives pose a significant risk of loss of life and injury to innocent people, the news agency said.
