Saudi, US Defense Ministers Discuss Efforts to Strengthen Regional, Int’l Security

Saudi Minister of Defense Prince Khalid bin Salman discussed on Tuesday with his US counterpart, Pete Hegseth, the latest developments in the region and their joint efforts to address the challenges, aiming to strengthen regional and international security and stability.

The talks between the two ministers took place during a telephone call received by Prince Khalid from Hegseth.

The two officials reviewed the strategic cooperation between the defense ministries of both countries and discussed ways to promote it.

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud sent on Monday a cable of congratulations to France’s President Emmanuel Macron on his country's National Day.

King Salman wished Macron continued good health and happiness, and the government and people of France steady progress and prosperity.

He also praised relations binding their countries, which both peoples are keen to strengthen.

Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, sent Macron a similar cable on the occasion.
