Saudi Minister of Justice Walid Al-Samaani held talks in Riyadh on Sunday with his Iraqi counterpart Khaled Shawani on means to strengthen judicial and legal relations between their two nations.
They discussed boosting cooperation, sharing expertise, and advancing judicial systems.
Al-Samaani highlighted key developments in Saudi Arabia’s justice sector, supported by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and overseen by Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister. He underlined specialized legislation to improve judicial efficiency and deliver swift justice.
Both officials stressed the importance of ongoing collaboration in legislation and alternative dispute resolution to support judicial progress.
They signed an executive program to foster cooperation in legislation, notarization expertise, alternative dispute resolution, and joint events such as conferences, seminars, and training courses.
