The 11th Arab Youth Athletics Championship officially kicked off in the Tunisian capital, Tunis.
Up to 400 U-18 athletes from Saudi Arabia, Jordan, the UAE, Egypt, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Syria, Lebanon, Algeria, Sudan, Iraq, Morocco, Tunisia, Mauritania, and Libya are participating in the competition, according to SPA.
Saudi Arabian Athletic Federation President Ali Al-Shaikhi emphasized that participation in this championship reflects the continued growth of athletics at the Arab, continental, and international levels.
