Saudi Arabia condemned on Monday Israeli forces for attacking a hospital in Gaza, killing medical staff and journalists at the scene.
Israel struck a building at Nasser Hospital in the southern city of Khan Younis with a missile Monday and then fired another as journalists and rescue workers rushed to the scene, killing dozens of people and wounding scores more and drawing international outrage.
In a Foreign Ministry statement, Saudi Arabia expressed its rejection of “ongoing Israeli violations of international laws and norms.”
It called on the international community “to put a stop to these crimes, underscoring the need to protect health care workers, rescuers and journalists.”
