The Saudi Theater and Performing Arts Commission has launched the second edition of its "Sitar" program, an initiative designed to support the theater and performing arts sector in the Kingdom.
It aims to enhance technical and production capabilities, improve the quality of theatrical productions, and boost their competitiveness.
Registration for the program opened Thursday and will continue until October 4 via the Sitar platform, SPA reported.
According to the commission, the Sitar program focuses on promoting local production that meets international artistic standards, empowering theater groups and emerging talent through practical experience, encouraging investment and partnerships to build a sustainable theater ecosystem, and creating quality job opportunities to help the sector become a vital economic driver.
