Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Secretary-General Jasem Albudaiwi held talks on Sunday with Egyptian Foreign Minister Dr. Badr Abdelatty on the sidelines of the meetings of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
They reviewed the dialogue and strategic partnership relations between the GCC and Egypt, as well as ways to strengthen and develop these ties across various fields to serve the common goals.
They tackled the latest regional and international developments, including the situation in the Gaza Strip and the serious violations committed by the Israeli forces against the Palestinian people.
The officials stressed the importance of concerted efforts to achieve a ceasefire, urgently deliver aid, and end the crisis to preserve regional and international security and stability.
