Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs, Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, participated on Wednesday in a quadrilateral meeting on Sudan, which included the United Arab Emirates, the Arab Republic of Egypt, and the United States of America.
The meeting was held on the sidelines of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York, the Saudi Press Agency reported Thursday.
Interlocutors addressed the crisis in Sudan stressing the need to unify efforts to overcome the humanitarian challenges.
Discussions also tackled implementing the commitments outlined in the Jeddah Declaration regarding the protection of civilians, and ensuring Sudan’s stability while preserving its sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity.
