Saudi Arabia’s city of Madinah has been named one of the world’s top 100 tourist destinations, a distinction announced in conjunction with World Tourism Day, celebrated on Friday, September 27, the Saudi Press Agency said on Sunday.
According to a report by Euromonitor International, the city ranked first in Saudi Arabia, fifth in the Gulf region, and sixth in the Arab world. Euromonitor International is an independent organization renowned for providing data-driven insights and field research across 210 markets, offering detailed country-specific analysis.
The ranking reflects ongoing efforts to enhance the experience of pilgrims and visitors through improved services, upgraded facilities, and the implementation of comprehensive strategic development plans.
