Permanent representatives at the Arab League on Thursday held a meeting in Cairo, chaired by Permanent Representative of the United Arab Emirates Ambassador Hamad Al-Zaabi.
The meeting aimed to review preparations for the 10th joint meeting between the Arab League’s permanent representatives and the EU’s Political and Security Committee ambassadors, scheduled to take place in Brussels on November 4, according to SPA.
The Saudi delegation to the meeting was headed by its Permanent Representative Ambassador Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Matar.
In a statement, Assistant Secretary-General for International Political Affairs at the Arab League Ambassador Dr. Khaled Manzlawiy stressed that the meeting briefed representatives on the latest developments related to the upcoming session.
He noted that the joint meetings primarily aim to enhance relations between Arab and European countries and boost cooperation mechanisms, especially after a nearly three-year pause.
Manzlawiy pointed out that Arab-European cooperation remains one of the most significant frameworks linking the Arab League with international blocs.
