Yemeni Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism Dr. Muammar Al-Eryani visited the Yemen Culture Week events, part of the “Global Harmony 2” initiative organized by the Ministry of Media in cooperation with the General Entertainment Authority (GEA), under the initiative of the Quality of Life Program to support the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
Al-Eryani stressed that hosting such events reflects the bonds of brotherhood between the two nations, noting that the Kingdom stands out in organizing humanitarian initiatives that have brought joy to over 400,000 Yemeni visitors in recent days. He stressed that this turnout highlights the initiative’s impact and significance.
The Yemeni minister was accompanied by a delegation of diplomats, including Japan’s Ambassador to Yemen Yoichi Nakashima, Chargé d’Affaires of the US Embassy to Yemen Jonathan Peccia, Chargé d’Affaires of the Chinese Embassy in Yemen Zhao Cheng, and Türkiye's Deputy Ambassador to Yemen Jihad Koçsuk, along with several other officials and media representatives.
The delegation members expressed their admiration for the cultural diversity showcased at the event, including traditional performances, performing arts, traditional costumes, and handicrafts, alongside accompanying artistic activities that reflect the richness and deep heritage of Yemeni culture.
The event’s pavilions presented aspects of Yemeni life, providing visitors the opportunity to explore villages and cities, as well as lifestyles across different regions of Yemen, and to discover traditional costumes that reflect the country’s environmental diversity and the richness of its culture.
