The Muslim World League (MWL) condemned the attacks carried out by Israeli forces on the town of Beit Jin in Syria, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Saturday.
In a statement, MWL Secretary-General and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa, denounced what he described as Israel’s “criminal act,” noting that the assault resulted in significant losses, particularly among civilians.
The MWL Secretary-General stressed that the Israeli occupation authorities continue to violate the sovereignty of states, breach international laws and norms, and undermine security and stability across the region.
He also emphasized full solidarity with Syria against any threat to its security, stability, territorial sovereignty, and unity.
