The Saudi bodybuilding national team achieved an exceptional milestone by securing first place globally at the World Bodybuilding Championship hosted in Khobar, reaffirming its strong presence and leading position among the participating teams after winning 51 medals across various categories.
The Saudi athletes demonstrated remarkable readiness and discipline throughout the competition, enabling them to deliver outstanding performances against some of the world’s strongest competitors, with 88 countries from different continents taking part, said the Saudi Press Agency.
The team's medal tally included three overall titles, 11 gold medals, six silver medals, eight bronze medals, 11 fourth-place rankings, five fifth-place rankings, and seven sixth-place rankings.
This global first-place achievement reflects the Kingdom's significant commitment to advancing sports and investing in the development of athletes and talent, which has enabled the Saudi national team to secure one of its most prominent international accomplishments.
