Saudi Arabia’s Supreme Court urged Muslims across the Kingdom to sight the crescent moon that signals the advent of the holy fasting month of Ramadan on Tuesday evening.

The Supreme Court requested that anyone who sights the crescent, whether with the naked eye or binoculars, report to the nearest court to register their testimony or contact a local center for assistance in reaching the court.

Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah received a phone call on from Kuwaiti Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, during which regional developments and related efforts were discussed, the Saudi Press Agency reported Thursday.

He also held phone talks with Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation, and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty.

During the call, they discussed the latest regional developments and the continuation of bilateral coordination and consultation in this regard, which contributes to strengthening security and stability.

Oman Suspends Oil Loading at Mina al Fahal Terminal After Explosion

Oman's Mina al Fahal terminal has suspended oil loading following an explosion near its single-buoy mooring (SBM) berths, two people familiar with the matter said on Friday.

The explosion occurred between SBM 1 and 2 ⁠berths due to ⁠an alleged drone attack, they said.

According to Reuters, it was not immediately clear when the attack took place.

Several ⁠supertankers were seen anchored off the port on Friday, shipping data from LSEG showed.

The terminal could not be immediately reached for comment outside office hours.

Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman reaffirmed on Thursday Saudi Arabia’s unwavering support for Bahrain during a telephone conversation with Bahrain’s King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

The Crown Prince denounced the Iranian attacks targeting Bahrain and underscored the Kingdom’s full solidarity with Bahrain and its support for all measures aimed at safeguarding its security, sovereignty, and territorial integrity.

He emphasized Saudi readiness to stand by Bahrain in the face of any threat to its national security, stability, or the safety of its citizens.
