The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs has expressed solidarity with Qatar and extended its sincere condolences following an internal explosion at a gas processing facility inside Qatar's Ras Laffan industrial complex.
In a statement, the ministry affirmed full support for Qatar and commended the efforts of the competent authorities in responding to the incident.
It extended its sincere condolences and sympathy to the families of the deceased, wished a speedy recovery to those injured, and hoped for the safe return of the missing to their loved ones.
Thirteen people were killed and dozens injured in the explosion.
