Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah received a phone call from his Kuwaiti counterpart Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Sunday.

During the call, the Kuwaiti foreign minister expressed his sincere condolences and heartfelt sympathy over the martyrs of the Saudi Aramco helicopter crash, praying to Allah Almighty to bestow His vast mercy and forgiveness upon them.

For his part, the Saudi minister expressed his deep appreciation and gratitude to Sheikh Al-Sabah for his sincere fraternal sentiments, praying for mercy and forgiveness for the martyrs.

Several Arab leaders offered their condolences to Saudi Arabia on Monday over the victims of the Aramco helicopter crash in Ras Tanura that killed 14 nationals.

Official Spokesperson for the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs Ambassador Fouad Majali affirmed Jordan's full solidarity with the Kingdom in the wake of the tragic incident and extended his sincere condolences to the families of the martyrs.

The Sultanate of Oman, in a statement issued by its Ministry of Foreign Affairs, expressed sincere condolences and heartfelt sympathy to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and to the families.

Messages of condolences poured in from leaders of the UAE, Bahrain, Palestine, and Jordan.

Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jasem Albudaiwi, and MWL Secretary-General and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa expressed their deep sorrow over the tragic incident and extended their sincere condolences to the Saudi leadership and people.

A helicopter belonging to Saudi oil giant Aramco crashed on Sunday in Ras Tanura on Saudi Arabia's eastern coast on the Gulf, west of the Strait of Hormuz, killing 14 nationals, the state news agency reported, adding that the cause was unknown.

Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister, received on Sunday a phone call from French President Emmanuel Macron.

During the call, they reviewed regional and international developments. They also discussed the latest developments regarding the memorandum of understanding signed between the US and Iran, as well as efforts to reach comprehensive solutions that achieve security and stability in the region.

The two sides affirmed the importance of ensuring freedom of navigation and supporting diplomatic efforts to de-escalate tensions.

They also discussed areas of joint cooperation and a number of regional and international issues of common interest.

Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jasem Albudaiwi condemned in the strongest terms the terrorist Iranian attacks using a number of ballistic missiles and drones against Bahrain and Kuwait.

He emphasized that these treacherous attacks constitute a direct threat to the security, stability, and safety of citizens and residents on the territories of Bahrain and Kuwait, and represent a blatant violation of the principles of international law and the United Nations (UN) Charter.

He added that the continuation of these Iranian attacks undermines ongoing regional and international efforts aimed at consolidating peace and security and resolving the crisis, SPA reported.

Furthermore, Albudaiwi underscored the GCC's absolute support for all measures taken by Bahrain and Kuwait to cement their security, safeguard their sovereignty, and protect their peoples and residents.
