Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jasem Albudaiwi expressed his condemnation in the strongest terms of the continued terrorist attacks on Saudi Arabia by Iran-affiliated militias in Iraq.
He stressed that these hostile acts represent a dangerous escalation, a flagrant violation of the Kingdom's sovereignty, and a direct threat to its security and stability, as well as to regional peace and security.
He underscored that the GCC states stand with the Kingdom, fully supporting all measures it takes to protect its security, sovereignty, and territorial integrity.
"The continuation of these terrorist assaults constitutes a direct threat to regional peace and security, undermining international efforts aimed at de-escalating tensions and consolidating security and stability," Albudaiwi stated.
The Muslim World League (MWL) also strongly condemned the continued attacks by the Iran-affiliated terrorist militias in Iraq against Saudi Arabia, including their attempt to target oil facilities in Eastern Region.
In a statement issued by MWL, Secretary General of MWL and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa reiterated his condemnation of these treacherous criminal attacks that violate all religious values, and international and humanitarian laws and norms.
On behalf of MWL's global councils, bodies, and institutions, as well as all Muslim peoples under its umbrella, Al-Issa reaffirmed full solidarity with Saudi Arabia in all measures it takes to deter aggressors, safeguard its security and sovereignty, and ensure the safety of its citizens and residents.
