The Saudi Ports Authority (Mawani) announced today the addition of the China Saudi Express (CSE) shipping service, operated by Hizone Group, to Jeddah Islamic Port.
The new shipping service connects the strategic Red Sea gateway to major regional and international maritime hubs, including Shanghai, Ningbo, Nansha, and Port Klang, operating with a capacity of 1,400 twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs), SPA reported.
This launch aligns with Mawani's ongoing efforts to elevate the global competitiveness of Jeddah Islamic Port, facilitate the seamless flow of global trade, and empower Saudi companies to access new international markets.
By boosting operational efficiency and supply chain reliability, the initiative directly supports the National Transport and Logistics Strategy under Saudi Vision 2030, further cementing the Kingdom's position as a premier global logistics hub.
Equipped with advanced infrastructure and integrated logistics facilities, Jeddah Islamic Port serves as a pivotal maritime link, driving international trade and supporting global supply chains across three continents.
