The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) strongly condemned the ongoing Israeli actions in the occupied Palestinian territory, particularly attacks targeting health facilities, residential neighborhoods, and tents sheltering displaced people in the Gaza Strip.
The OIC also warned against the continued expansion of Israeli settlement activities and organized violence by extremist settlers, carried out under the protection of Israeli occupation forces across the occupied West Bank.
The organization stressed the need for decisive international action to end these violations and ensure those responsible are held accountable, SPA reported.
It reiterated the need for the international community to ensure that Israel fulfills its obligations under the ceasefire agreement and proceeds with the implementation of the agreement's second phase in line with UN Security Council Resolution 2803.
It called for the opening of all border crossings, the unhindered and adequate delivery of humanitarian aid, and the complete withdrawal of Israeli forces.
The OIC also stressed the importance of preserving the unity of the occupied Palestinian territory and enabling the Government of the State of Palestine to exercise its responsibilities across the entire territory, including the Gaza Strip.
