The Official Spokesperson of the Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen Major General Turki Al-Malki has stressed that attacks by Yemen’s Houthi militias “will not go unpunished.”

"The brutal attacks by the terrorist Houthi militia on civilians and civilian objects” in Saudi Arabia, most recently targeting King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh and Abha International Airport “will not go unpunished,” Al-Malki said.

“The Joint Forces of the Coalition launched a comprehensive operation, destroying a total of 82 legitimate military targets belonging to the terrorist Houthi militia across the governorates of Saada, Al-Hudaydah, Al-Jawf, and Marib,” he said.

Al-Malki added that “targets included ballistic missile sites, specifically mountain-based ballistic missile storages in Saada, command and control centers, communication systems, missile and weapons storages, and gathering sites for Terrorist Houthi groups."

Several Arab, Islamic, and Gulf bodies strongly condemned the Houthi terrorist attacks targeting Saudi airports, reaffirming their solidarity with the Kingdom and support for all measures taken to protect its security and civilian infrastructure.

The Muslim World League (MWL), Jordan, Bahrain, Arab Interior Ministers Council Secretariat, and GCC Secretary General condemned the latest Houthi aggression against the Abha International Airport and King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh resulting in the death and injury of several individuals.

They emphasized that such acts violate religious values, as well as international and humanitarian laws and norms, and further demonstrate the criminal nature of the Houthi militia through its deliberate targeting of civilians and civilian infrastructure.

They reaffirmed full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in all measures it takes to deter aggression and safeguard its security and the safety of its citizens and residents.

Saudi Arabia’s General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) announced that three people were killed and 36 injured in two separate attacks on its Abha and Riyadh airports on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Official Spokesperson of the Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen Major General Turki Al-Malki announced that a ballistic missile launch platform, which was used in an attack on Riyadh, has been destroyed.

The platform was located in Yemen’s Sanaa and was being prepared for an imminent attack against Saudi Arabia, he added.

Earlier, Al-Malki said a ballistic missile launched by the terrorist Houthi militia was intercepted and destroyed north of Riyadh.

He confirmed that the Coalition is tracking the launch platform over Sanaa using its intelligence systems and will destroy it.

Another ballistic missile launched by the Houthis toward Khamis Mushait was intercepted and destroyed.

Al-Malki explained that Houthi-held Sanaa and the governorates of Saada and Amran are the sources of Houthi missile threats, stressing that the coalition continues to neutralize ballistic and surface-to-surface missile threats and destroy their sources.
