The Saudi national football team will conduct a preparatory training camp in Newcastle, England during the upcoming FIFA International Days in September. This camp marks the second phase of the national team's preparation program for the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023, which is scheduled to take place in January.
The Saudi team's camp, scheduled from September 3 to September 12, includes two friendly matches. The first match will be against the Costa Rican national team on September 8, followed by a friendly game against the South Korean national team on September 12.
Both matches will be played at St. James' Park, the home stadium of the English club, Newcastle United FC.
In the AFC Asian Cup, the Saudi national team is positioned in Group Six, alongside Oman, Kyrgyzstan, and Thailand.
