The Saudi National Football Team arrived on Friday in Jakarta to begin preparations ahead of the match against the Indonesian national team on Tuesday at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium. The game will be part of the sixth round of the Asian qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, the Saudi Press Agency said.
Upon arrival at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, the Saudi delegation was warmly received by Faisal bin Abdullah Al-Amoudi, the Saudi Ambassador to Indonesia.
Saudi Arabian Football Federation President, Yasser Al-Misehal, expressed his gratitude to the Saudi embassy in Indonesia for the warm reception and the support extended to the delegation since their arrival. The team is set to hold a closed training session on Saturday at Gelora Jakarta Stadium.
