Turkish champions Galatasaray have signed Ivory Coast defender Wilfried Singo from AS Monaco for 30.8 million euros ($36.06 million), the Super Lig club said on Thursday.
Additionally, Galatasaray will pay 10% of any future resale profit to French side Monaco.
The 24-year-old Singo, who has 31 caps for the Ivory Coast national team, has signed a five-year contract on a salary of 4.8 million euros per season.
Singo was relegated to the bench by Monaco coach Adi Huetter for the first two Ligue 1 matches of this season.
Galatasaray paid a Turkish record 75 million euros in July to sign Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen permanently after a season on loan from Napoli.
The Istanbul club also brought in winger Leroy Sane on a free transfer from Bayern Munich and will be able to count on the return from injury of Argentinian forward Mauro Icardi.
