A delegation from the World Health Organization (WHO) has visited the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) headquarters in Riyadh.
The delegation was briefed on Tuesday on the commission's efforts in the health sector and the services it provides to health practitioners.
During the visit, the delegation met with the commission’s Secretary-General, Dr. Aws bin Ibrahim Al-Shamsan, and its members.
The delegation was also briefed on the commission's role in the Kingdom’s Health Sector Transformation Program.
The meeting discussed the authority's experience in postgraduate programs 'Saudi Board Certificate', health training programs, health workforce planning, health academy programs and occupational classification. Additionally, the meeting discussed the programs offered by the Health Leadership Academy to qualify leaders in the health field.
The delegation, which was also briefed on the authority's main testing center and the quality standards of precautionary measures in the tests, thanked the commission for its cooperation and praised its achievements for better health care.
