The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) in the Gaza Strip announced that its relief services to about 700,000 displaced Palestinians will stop during the next 48 hours, due to the Israeli occupation cutting the flow of fuel into the enclave for the 38th consecutive day, SPA reported.
UNRWA reported that the humanitarian, living, and health conditions are catastrophic in its 150 shelter centers, to which hundreds of thousands of Palestinians have fled to seek refuge from the ongoing Israeli bombardment of Gaza.
It also said that most of bakeries in the enclave have stopped working, due to the exhaustion of fuel as well as the depletion of wheat, further exacerbating the suffering of Palestinians.
