Early Friday, sirens sounded in parts of Israel as its military said it detected a missile launch by Yemen’s Houthi militant group targeting the country.
The Israeli military said it intercepted the missile as booms could be heard in Jerusalem, reported The Associated Press.
The Houthis did not immediately claim the attack, but it can take hours or even days for the group to acknowledge their assaults.
