Up to 1,499,472 Pilgrims Arrive in Saudi Arabia

Up to 1,499,472 pilgrims arrived so far in Saudi Arabia for the Hajj season 2023, the General Directorate of Passports reported.

The total of arrivals reached the Kingdom through air, land and sea ports.

According to the Directorate, 1,435,014 pilgrims came to the Kingdom through airports, including 230,170 beneficiaries of the Makkah Route initiative.

Also, 59,744 pilgrims came through land ports, and 4,714 pilgrims came through sea ports.

King Salman, Crown Prince Congratulate Joseph Aoun on Winning Lebanese Presidential Election

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, sent on Thursday a cable of congratulations to Joseph Aoun on his election as Lebanon's President and on taking the constitutional oath.
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques expressed his wishes for  Aoun's success and for the continued progress and prosperity of the people of Lebanon.

For his part, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, who is also the Saudi Prime Minister, sent a cable of congratulations to Aoun, extending his wishes for his success and for the continued progress and prosperity of the Lebanese people.
