Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah received a telephone call on Saturday from Chairman of the Sudanese Transitional Sovereignty Council General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan.

During the phone conversation, they discussed the latest developments in Sudan.

Prince Faisal stressed the importance of all Sudanese parties’ commitment to ensuring undisrupted humanitarian work and the safety of humanitarian assistance corridors as well as the protection of civilians and workers of relief organizations.

He also renewed the Kingdom’s call to restore calm, prioritize the national interest, stop all forms of military escalation, and resort to a political solution that guarantees the return of security and stability to Sudan.

The 19th relief plane operated by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) landed at Beirut-Rafik Hariri International Airport on Tuesday, carrying vital humanitarian supplies including food, shelter, and medical aid.

This assistance is in line with Saudi Arabia's significant humanitarian contributions and commitment to its values and principles.

Through its humanitarian arm, KSrelief, the Kingdom stands in solidarity with countries and peoples in times of crises.
