Saudi Leadership Directs KSrelief to Provide Aid to Flood Victims in Libya

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, directed on Thursday the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) to provide food and shelter assistance to people affected by the floods in Libya.

Advisor at the Royal Court and KSrelief Supervisor General Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Rabeeah stressed that the aid is an extension of the continuous support of the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince to stand by all brotherly and friendly countries during various circumstances and ordeals.

Al Rabeeah said KSrelief will provide assistance to the Libyan people in coordination with the Libyan Red Crescent and several other international humanitarian organizations.

He expressed his sincere gratitude to King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed for their noble and steadfast positions, which reflect the ongoing humanitarian commitment of Saudi Arabia in aiding the afflicted and needy worldwide during various crises and hardships.

Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister, received on Monday a written message from South African President Cyril Ramaphosa concerning relations between their countries.

Undersecretary of Ministry of Foreign Affairs for International Multilateral Affairs and General Supervisor of the Public Diplomacy Deputyship Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Rassi accepted the message on behalf of Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah.

Al-Rassi accepted the message during a meeting with special envoy for the president of South Africa Gwen Ramokgopa.

They discussed ways to bolster and expand relations between Saudi Arabia and South Africa in various sectors. They also tackled issues of mutual interest.
