Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah participated Wednesday in an extraordinary session of the Arab League (AL) Council at the ministerial level held in Cairo, Egypt.
The meeting focused on the military escalation in Gaza and its surrounding areas, the worsening conditions that pose a threat to civilian lives, and the overall security and stability of the region.
The ministers explored potential strategies to ensure the protection of civilians in the Gaza Strip, as well as the continuation of vital services and the delivery of humanitarian aid, SPA reported.
The ministers also addressed the importance of making every possible effort to engage with international and regional entities in order to de-escalate the situation. They stressed the necessity of adhering to international humanitarian law and prohibiting the targeting of civilians.

Saudi Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Eng. Waleed El-Khereiji met on Thursday Ambassador of Türkiye to Saudi Arabia Emrullah İşler.

The two officials met in Riyadh to discuss cooperation in various fields, SPA reported.
They also discussed regional and international developments and the efforts to address them.
