Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah held on Tuesday talks over the phone with Slovenian Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Tanja Fajon.

During the talks they discussed ways to support all efforts aimed at de-escalating the military operations in Gaza and preventing the forced displacement of the population of the strip.

The Saudi minister expressed appreciation for Slovenia's vote in favor of the UN resolution, adopted on October 27, 2023, which demanded an immediate humanitarian truce in the besieged Gaza Strip, SPA reported.

Their discussions touched on efforts made to deliver humanitarian, relief and medical aid to prevent the exacerbation of the humanitarian crisis.
