Saudi Arabia, Qatar Discuss Means to Bolster Security Cooperation

Saudi Minister of Interior Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz held official talks with his Qatar counterpart Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani at the ministry's headquarters in Riyadh on Monday.

Prince Abdulaziz stressed that security initiatives and objectives, as agreed upon during the seventh meeting of the Saudi-Qatari Coordination Council, reflect the commitment of both countries' leadership to fortify cooperation and collaborative efforts.

The officials discussed means to boost security cooperation between their ministries.

They also took part in the signing of an action plan for a project aimed at streamlining the movement of passengers through the Saudi Salwa and Qatari Abu Samra checkpoints.

The eighth Saudi relief plane, operated by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), arrived Thursday at Damascus International Airport in Syria, carrying food, shelter, and medical supplies.
This assistance is an extension of Saudi Arabia's continuous humanitarian and relief efforts through its humanitarian arm, KSrelief, to support those in need worldwide during crises.
