Saudi Arabia has condemned two deadly explosions in Iran.

“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed the Kingdom’s rejection and condemnation of the terrorist bombings that targeted civilians in Iran,” a statement said.

The Ministry extended it condolences and sympathy to Iran, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.

Two bombs exploded and killed and injured hundreds of people in Iran.

The explosions struck minutes apart on Wednesday, shaking the city of Kerman, about 820 kilometers southeast of the capital, Tehran.

Saudi Minister of Defense Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz met Thursday in Riyadh with State Secretary to the Prime Minister of Sweden Johan Stuart.

During the meeting, they discussed ways to enhance and develop cooperation between both countries and addressed issues of mutual interest.
