Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah spoke by telephone on Friday with his Brazilian counterpart, Mauro Vieira.

The two ministers discussed bilateral relations, ways to enhance them and developments in the region and the world, primarily the situation in the Gaza Strip.

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, has sent a cable of condolences to US President Joe Biden on the victims of the terrorist incident that took place in the city of New Orleans.
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques said: "We have learned of the news of the terrorist incident that took place in the city of New Orleans, resulting in deaths and injuries. As we condemn this heinous act, we express to Your Excellency, the families of the victims, and the friendly people of the United States of America our deepest condolences and sincere sympathy. We wish the injured a speedy recovery.”
According to SPA, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has also sent a cable of condolences to Biden, saying: "I have learned of the news of the terrorist incident that took place in the city of New Orleans, resulting in deaths and injuries. As I condemn this act, I express to Your Excellency, and the US friendly people my deepest condolences and sincere sympathy. I wish the injured a speedy recovery.”
