King Salman Receives Written Messages from Rulers of Egypt, Jordan

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud received on Monday separate written messages from Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and Jordan’s King Abdullah II related to relations between their countries.

The messages were received by Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for International Multilateral Affairs, and General Supervisor of the Public Diplomacy Deputyship Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Rassi during separate meetings in Riyadh with Egyptian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Ahmad Farouq and Jordan’s Ambassador to the Kingdom Dr. Haitham Abu Al-Foul.

The meetings reviewed relations between the countries and discussed ways to boost and develop them in all fields. They also reviewed issues of common interest.

Qatar, Egypt Stress Coordination to Maintain Gaza Ceasefire

Qatar’s Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani held talks with Egyptian Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly on the margins of the World Economic Forum 2025 in Davos.

They tackled cooperation between their countries and ways of strengthening and developing them, said Qatar's state news agency (QNA).

They discussed means of ensuring the full implementation of the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip and the exchange of detainees and prisoners.

Sheikh Mohammed underscored the continued coordination between Qatar and Egypt within the framework of joint mediation that guarantees that the parties implement the ceasefire.

They also reviewed the latest developments in Syria.
