The Speaker of the Arab Parliament (AP), Adel bin Abdulrahman Al-Asoumi, confirmed that the AP will continue its diplomatic efforts at international forums to support the Palestinian cause.
During the meeting with the Palestinian Minister of Women’s Affairs, Mona Al-Khalili, at the headquarters of the AP Secretariat General in Cairo, Al-Asomi also affirmed plans to continue communicating with regional and international parliaments and inter-parliamentary unions to stop the ongoing conflict waged by the Israeli occupation against the Palestinian people, SPA reported.
He renewed the AP’s support, assistance, and solidarity with the Palestinian people to achieve their legitimate rights, in accordance with the resolutions of international legitimacy, topped by the establishment of an independent state with the city of Jerusalem as its capital.
In turn, Al-Khalili briefed Al-Asoumi on the latest developments in the State of Palestine, citing the conditions of Palestinian women in the Gaza Strip, praising the efforts of the AP to support Palestine at all Arab, regional and international levels.
