Saudi Arabia Welcomes Joint Statement Issued by US, Egypt and Qatar on Gaza Ceasefire

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia welcomed the joint statement issued by US President Joe Biden, Egyptian President Abdul Fattah al-Sisi, and Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, on the Gaza ceasefire, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Saturday.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that the Kingdom fully supports their efforts to complete the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip and address the worsening humanitarian conditions.
It emphasized the urgent need to halt the violence, alleviate suffering, protect civilians, and advance towards ending the occupation, achieving peace and security, and restoring the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people.

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud sent on Friday a cable of condolences to President of Sudan's Transitional Sovereign Council and army commander Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan on the death of his sister Amnah.

Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, also sent Burhan a similar cable.
